Group Chef – Luxury Food and Beverage Consultancy | St Francis, Eastern Cape Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and innovative Group Chef to lead the culinary operations for a Luxury Food and Beverage Consultancy based in St Francis, Eastern Cape. The role involves overseeing multiple dining outlets, including three restaurants and a food truck, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity across all culinary offerings. This is a live-in position with a salary of R35,000 – R40,000 per month ; negotiable depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all culinary operations across three restaurants and a food truck. Develop menus that reflect creativity, seasonality, and high culinary standards. Supervise; train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistent delivery and professional development. Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in all kitchen areas. Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships efficiently. Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events, promotions, and culinary initiatives. Ensure operational efficiency while maintaining quality and cost control. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a multi-outlet or high-volume environment. Formal culinary qualifications from a recognised institution. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Creativity and passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Ability to manage multiple teams and adapt to a dynamic operational environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
