Terra Agri, a well-established provider of orchard and vineyard netting structures, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in ensuring the efficient procurement, inventory management, and logistics of materials sourced both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure materials from local and international suppliers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and developing new supplier opportunities
Forecast material requirements based on sales demand and project schedules
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control processes to prevent shortages and minimise excess stock
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers
Plan and coordinate local and international logistics, including shipping, customs documentation, and delivery schedules
Track project material procurement from project initiation through to completion, ensuring budgets are monitored and material availability aligns with project timelines
Assist with project cost tracking by monitoring material expenditure against approved budgets
Oversee logistics data processing for site machinery, including capturing operating hours, fuel consumption, servicing schedules, maintenance records, and associated operating costs
Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, logistics, and project records using Microsoft Excel
Liaise with internal departments, including sales, finance, operations, and project management, to ensure procurement activities align with business requirements
Assist in improving procurement processes and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Minimum Requirements:
A qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field will be advantageous
1–3 years' experience in a procurement, logistics, or supply chain role
Experience within the agricultural, construction, or related industries will be advantageous
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
Willingness to relocate to Ceres
Valid driver's licence
