Job Summary
An established luxury safari and conservation organisation is looking for a creative, organised and versatile Content & Campaign Officer to join its marketing team in Pretoria. Working across a portfolio of luxury hospitality, conservation and experiential brands, this role will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media, producing design work and supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable creating polished luxury travel content, telling meaningful conservation stories, designing marketing collateral and producing engaging reels and video. Key responsibilities Develop and manage content calendars across multiple brands. Create; schedule and publish social media content, including posts, reels, stories and video. Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms. Monitor social media trends, platform developments and content opportunities. Design digital and print marketing material, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, reports, menus and certificates. Write; design and distribute email newsletters. Manage subscriber databases and segmentation using platforms such as Constant Contact and Brevo. Write and publish blog and website content in line with SEO best practice. Plan; edit and publish video content for social media and YouTube. Assist with the planning and execution of campaigns and events. Update website content and identify errors, broken links or content gaps. Maintain organised digital content and asset libraries. Support conservation-focused campaigns, educational initiatives and community engagement projects. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure content and campaigns are delivered accurately and on time. Participate in a rostered four-hour weekend social media duty approximately once per month. Requirements Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Approximately 2–4 years’ experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing. Experience within hospitality, tourism, conservation or a purpose-driven lifestyle brand would be highly advantageous. A portfolio or work samples demonstrating social media, design, copywriting and/or video content. Strong writing and storytelling ability, with the versatility to adapt tone across luxury hospitality and conservation brands. Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite ; including Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere Pro. Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube . Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Brevo or similar. Confident video editing and reels production skills. Good understanding of SEO fundamentals for website and blog content. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands, deadlines and priorities at once.
