Sales Consultant – Limpopo Region (Polokwane Based)

Role Overview
A results-driven Senior Sales Consultant responsible for driving territory growth across Limpopo within the Foodservice, Hospitality, Forecourt, and On-Consumption beverage sectors.
This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of independently managing a geographically dispersed territory, securing new regional accounts, and expanding beverage category presence across both hot and cold solutions.
Ideal candidates will come from beverage, liquor, premium drinks distribution, or FMCG backgrounds with strong regional relationship networks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Territory Account Management
Manage and grow existing regional accounts across Limpopo.
Conduct regular in-person visits across the territory.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Implement structured quarterly account reviews.
2. New Business Acquisition
Identify high-potential independent and group accounts.
Target hospitality establishments, restaurants, lodges, forecourts, coffee outlets, and catering operators.
Pitch and close beverage solution proposals.
Expand product footprint within new and existing customers.
3. Commercial Management
Maintain and protect gross margin targets.
Execute pricing cycles effectively.
Manage promotional and pricing negotiations with a strong commercial focus.
Ensure profitable growth within all assigned accounts.
4. Strategic Sales Execution
Develop an annual regional growth plan aligned to company objectives.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Increase market share in the Limpopo Foodservice market.
5. Market & Trend Awareness
Monitor beverage trends within hospitality and tourism markets in Limpopo.
Track competitor activity.
Provide territory intelligence to leadership and marketing teams.
6. Cross-Department Collaboration
Coordinate with trainers for product rollouts.
Work with supply chain to ensure product availability.
Align with marketing for regional activations and brand positioning.
Candidate Profile
Experience Required
3–5 years’ sales experience in:
Proven new business acquisition record.
Experience working independently within a regional territory.
Competencies
Strong hunter mentality with disciplined territory management
Commercial understanding of pricing, margins, and account profitability
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Self-driven and capable of working without micromanagement
Passionate about premium beverage brands and category growth
What’s on Offer
Competitive Market related base salary : R 25000.00 – R 35 000.00 (negotiable based on experience)
Structured commission potential - based on sales achieved
