Chef de Partie - Luxury Private Game Reserve - Eastern Cape Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie for a world-renowned, understated luxury safari reserve in the Eastern Cape, operating across multiple intimate lodge and exclusive-use villa settings with a strong focus on exceptional, personalised dining experiences for discerning international guests. This is a live-in position in a remote, pristine wilderness environment - ideal for a chef who is as passionate about the African bush as they are about great food. Minimum Requirements: Formal culinary qualification from a recognised institution Minimum 2 to 3 years' Chef de Partie experience in a luxury lodge, hotel or fine dining environment Strong all-round kitchen skills across multiple sections Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance Ability to work across breakfast, lunch, dinner and special dining events Team player with a positive, hands-on attitude Comfortable living and working in a remote, live-in environment Stable work history with contactable references Food portfolio advantageous Key Responsibilities: Prepare and execute dishes to the highest standard across all meal services Manage and maintain your allocated section with precision and consistency Assist the Head Chef with menu preparation, special events and bush dining experiences Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards Assist with stock control, food costing and waste reduction within your section Support and contribute positively to a small, close-knit kitchen team Package: R8000 - R10,000 DOE Basic Live-in: Accommodation and meals provided Uniform provided Should you feel you are the right fit for this role, please apply with your updated CV, contactable references, a food portfolio and a recent head & shoulders photo ASAP! ?
