Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Assistant Lodge Management Couple 5-star Lodge – Klaserie- Limpopo A prestigious 5-star luxury safari lodge located deep within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is seeking a highly capable and experienced Assistant Management Couple to join their dynamic team. Due to the remote nature of the lodge (approximately 1.5–2 hours from Hoedspruit), this role requires individuals who are comfortable living in an isolated setting and thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on operation with a small team. The successful couple will be involved in all aspects of lodge operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining exceptional service standards. The role requires a strong Front of House professional alongside a qualified Trails Guide. A passion for guest interaction, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across departments are essential. This is not a conventional lodge role, but rather one that demands adaptability, initiative, and a proactive mindset. JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES Requirements: Proven 5-star lodge experience (FOH and Trails Guide) FGASA Level 1 + Lead Trails Guide + ARH or equivalent Valid First Aid Level 1 and PDP Strong admin, planning, and organisational skills Excellent interpersonal and guest engagement abilities Ability to work in a remote, high-pressure environment Team-oriented; flexible, and hands-on approach Responsibilities (Her – FOH): Guest hosting, check-in/out, and guest relations Staff management alongside lodge managers Overseeing room preparation and guest experience details Managing guest accounts, payments, and admin tasks Coordinating logistics and special guest requests Assisting with lodge operations and external activities Responsibilities (Him – Guide/Operations): Conducting two daily game drives Maintenance oversight of lodge and property Supporting staff supervision when management is on leave Guest interaction and hosting duties Assisting with lodge operations and logistics Participation in guest activities and bush experiences PACKAGE · Salary: R32,000 gross DOE · R3,000 food allowance · Medical aid & provident fund contribution · Accommodation: Private cottage, with shared kitchen facilities.
