Hospitality and Outdoor - New Vacancy - Receptionist Mkuze; Kwa-Zulu Natal A family-owned 4-star country-inn situated in Northern KwaZulu-Natal, is looking for a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented receptionist to join their front office team. As the face of the hotel, you will play a key role in creating warm, memorable guest experiences in a calm and welcoming environment. Requirements · At least 2 – 3 years experience as a Receptionist within the Hospitality industry in a 4* environment (Essential) · Grade 12 (Essential) · Computer literate – experience with reservations systems like Semper or similar (Advantageous) · Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, team player, handle pressure well, bubbly personality, and great communication skills. · Attention to detail and organizational skills. · Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends and holidays. · Professional appearance and demeanor. Description · Welcome guests warmly in person and over the phone, creating a positive first impression. · Manage check-ins, check-outs, and ensure accurate billing and room allocation. · Process bookings across all channels (phone, email, online), upsell room types and packages where possible. · Respond promptly to guest queries via phone and email, maintaining brand tone and professionalism . · Handle payments, post charges accurately, and follow correct cash-up procedures. · Assist with guest enquiries about local activities, spa bookings, safari tours, and transport arrangements. · Maintain filing, print guest registration cards, and prepare arrival reports. · Monitor front office supplies and place orders when required. · Liaise closely with housekeeping, kitchen, spa, and reservations to ensure seamless guest experiences. · Secure front office and assist with emergency procedures. Package on offer · R7 000 – R10 000 pm – Depending on experience · 50% contribution to Momentum Medical Aid · 7% (of basic salary) contribution to Provident Fund · Live-out Starting Date: ASAP
