Accommodation Lead | Cape Winelands A Farm Shaped Over Time Set in the heart of the Cape Winelands, this working wine and produce farm brings hospitality, retail, food, wine, craft and land together in experiences that feel warm, generous and grounded. We're looking for an Accommodation Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm-based accommodation and Front Office, making sure every guest has a consistently exceptional experience from arrival to departure. This is a guest-facing leadership role, working closely alongside our Housekeeping Hospitality Lead to keep standards, room readiness and guest expectations aligned, without taking on the direct management of the housekeeping team. What You'll Do • Oversee the daily operational readiness of all accommodation units • Coordinate room availability, readiness and turnaround times to support arrivals and departures • Lead Front Office operations, ensuring professional, welcoming and efficient service at every guest touchpoint • Act as the primary guest-facing leader for accommodation matters, including VIP guests and special requests • Handle guest feedback, complaints and service recovery, working closely with the relevant departments • Lead, train and manage the Front Office and accommodation support teams • Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping and food & beverage teams to keep everything running smoothly • Ensure health, safety and guest service standards are consistently applied What You'll Bring • Proven experience in accommodation or Front Office hospitality management • Strong guest relations and service recovery skills • Experience leading a Front Office team • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills • Availability to work weekends, public holidays and peak seasons • A qualification in Hospitality, Tourism or Hotel Management is preferred, as is Health & Safety, Guest Service or First Aid training Who You Are • Guest-centric, approachable and professional • A collaborative leader with strong attention to detail • Confident working cross-functionally, even without direct authority • Calm under pressure with a solutions-driven mindset • Comfortable in a farm or rural estate environment Why This Role Here; regeneration begins with the land and is carried forward by our people.
