Assist the Head Chef in menu execution and daily kitchen operations.
Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards within the kitchen.
Oversee stock control, ordering, and rotation following FIFO principles.
Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates.
Supervise junior kitchen staff and support training initiatives.
Ensure efficient workflow during service and uphold fine dining standards.
Monitor portion control, cost management, and waste reduction.
Support in maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a fine dining or high-end restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for refined cuisine.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and plating standards.
Ability to support the Head Chef and lead the team when required.
