The role is approximately 30% cooking (restaurant and events) and 70% communications, reporting, and logistics, requiring a highly organised and reliable individual. Minimum Requirements: • Proven experience in fine dining or luxury restaurant environments • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks • Strong internal and external communication skills • Confident guest-facing abilities • High standards of hygiene and food preparation • Understanding of costings, food costs, and basic kitchen logistics • Knowledge of HR and labour legislation • Reliable transport and ability to drive a Defender • Strong sense of task completion, timekeeping, and discipline • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and execute high-standard cooking for restaurant service and special events • Support internal and external communications, including reporting, scheduling, and correspondence • Coordinate logistics for events, kitchen operations, and staff requirements • Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards at all times • Monitor and manage food cost and inventory • Support HR and labour compliance within operational scope • Ensure tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and to the required standards Salary: Negotiable DOE This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and adaptable professional to play a key role in the smooth running of a high-end restaurant, balancing culinary skill with operational and administrative expertise.
