Job Summary
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the full lifecycle management of projects and ongoing maintenance operations at a client site.
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- N Diploma/B Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Compulsory)
- N Diploma/B Degree in Project Management(Advantage).
- Project Management accreditation.(SACPCMP and/or PMP)
- ECSA Pr. Eng / Pr. Tech Eng (Advantage)
Experience:
7–10 years’ experience in electrical engineering and project management Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing large-scale electrical programs. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in site-based operations and maintenance environments Proven experience managing client contracts and SLAs
Requirements
Required Knowledge
- Electrical systems design (MCCs, drives, transformers)
- PLC programming, SCADA and HMI systems
- Control & Instrumentation systems
- Industrial networking (Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
- Preventative and predictive maintenance systems
- Commissioning and fault-finding of electrical systems
- Diesel generators and backup power systems
- Health & Safety legislation (OHSA)
