Live-Out Position Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Touring Financial Accountant for a luxury travel company based in Sandton. This role is ideal for a highly organised finance professional with strong analytical ability and experience managing complex reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls within a fast-paced travel or hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy across touring operations, supporting multiple internal teams, and maintaining strong compliance and reporting standards. Requirements: ✔ Relevant accounting qualification (Diploma or Degree) ✔ 3–5 years’ experience in finance/accounting role (travel or hospitality preferred) ✔ Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency ✔ Experience with Tourplan or similar systems advantageous ✔ Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills ✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy ✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines ✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Key Responsibilities: • Liaise with suppliers, reservations, and internal teams to resolve financial queries • Review and release supplier and operational payments via banking platforms • Manage and process club and operational transactions for internal teams • Act as finance liaison between Sales, DMC, Commercial, and Finance departments • Ensure compliance with AML, FICA, and internal financial policies • Approve refunds and commissions in line with company procedures • Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls • Perform weekly reconciliations including bank and credit card accounts • Resolve discrepancies and follow up on client or membership shortfalls • Support Touring Team with ad hoc financial functions • Close financial periods in Tourplan within deadlines • Prepare VAT calculations, submissions, and resolve queries • Produce management accounts, forecasts, and budgets • Revalue reconciliations and balance sheet accounts • Manage stock movements and investigate variances or write-offs • Support audit processes and internal financial reviews • Assist Debtors team with risk reporting and analysis • Oversee operational revenue, costs, and expense provisions Candidate Profile: • Highly analytical and detail-driven finance professional • Strong problem-solver with a proactive mindset • Calm, resilient, and efficient under pressure • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills • Process-focused with a continuous improvement approach Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
