We are a well-established, diversified engineering group, seeking two driven and commercially astute Technical Sales Representatives to join our team at a group level. This is a strategic sales role for individuals who can think beyond individual products and position the group as an integrated, end-to-end process flow solution to clients across multiple high-value sectors.
You will be the face of the group to the market — combining deep technical knowledge with consultative selling skills to engage decision-makers at all levels, understand complex operational challenges, and present compelling, solution-led proposals.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
• Selling the organisation's full suite of engineering products and service solutions across targeted industries
• Identifying, developing, and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities across key sectors
• Building and maintaining strategic relationships with procurement, engineering, and operations decision-makers
• Conducting technical presentations, site visits, and solution demonstrations
• Preparing detailed proposals, tenders, and quotations in collaboration with various teams in house
• Meeting and exceeding agreed revenue targets and key performance indicators
• Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions via Zoho CRM
• Providing market intelligence and competitor insights to inform the organisation's commercial strategy
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Sales, or a related field
• 5 to 8 years of proven technical sales experience
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas
• Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline and activity management
• Own reliable vehicle and valid South African driver's license
