Salary: Negotiable, DOE Kendrick Recruitment is partnering with a luxury property group with a strong conservation and community impact focus to recruit an exceptional Senior Fundraising and Partnerships Manager. This is a high-impact, leadership-level role for a strategic fundraiser and relationship-builder who knows how to turn vision into long-term funding. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing sustainable financial support for conservation and community initiatives across Africa and beyond. ? The Role The Senior Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will lead the development, growth, and management of strategic fundraising partnerships, working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Acting as a key ambassador for the organisation, this role is central to strengthening credibility, reputation, and long-term impact through values-driven collaborations. ? Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and manage high-value fundraising partnerships with private, public, and corporate donors • Lead grant prospecting, proposal development, copywriting, and submission processes • Build and nurture long-term relationships with funders, philanthropies, and strategic partners • Align proposal narratives with accurate budgets in collaboration with finance and operations teams • Support the development of results frameworks, theories of change, log frames, and monitoring & evaluation tools • Maintain and refine fundraising templates, reporting processes, and proposal systems • Prepare and present fundraising, partnership, and Board-level reports • Maintain donor databases and analyse philanthropy trends to inform strategy • Ensure compliance with funding policies, confidentiality, and data protection requirements ? Candidate Requirements • Bachelor’s or Honours degree in a relevant field • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in fundraising, partnerships, proposal development, and grant writing • Proven fundraising track record with the ability to raise in excess of R50 million per annum within three years • Strong understanding of public, private, and corporate funding streams • Excellent strategic thinking with a results- and impact-driven mindset • Strong financial literacy with experience in budget development and oversight • Advanced communication, influencing, and presentation skills • High-level proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills ?
