Job Summary
IgniteByte Digital is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our end-to-end cloud infrastructure. This role is critical in setting up scalable environments from scratch — including build pipelines, networking, domain configuration, and production-ready deployments on Microsoft Azure.

Contract Type: Initial 1-Year Contract (with potential extension/permanent opportunity)
Key Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS).
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Set up complete build and release pipelines from code commit to production deployment.
Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters using Kubernetes.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Configure and deploy Azure Web Apps, SQL databases, and related PaaS services.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep.
Design and configure networking components (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, DNS, domain mapping, SSL certificates).
Set up environments end-to-end: development, staging, and production with proper access control and governance.
Ensure high availability, backup strategies, and disaster recovery implementation.
Monitor system performance and optimize cloud costs.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Proven experience setting up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Experience with Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, networking, and domain configuration.
Strong understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or DevOps Engineer Expert) — highly desirable.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Exposure to security compliance frameworks.
