Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a talented and experienced Private Chef to join a high-profile private household based in Sandton. This is a live-in position offering an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to work in a refined and private environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare daily meals according to the household’s preferences and dietary requirements
Create diverse and well-balanced menus, including international and local cuisine
Source, purchase, and manage quality ingredients and kitchen supplies
Ensure kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation at all times
Cater for private functions and special occasions within the household
Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Adapt to the changing schedules and preferences of the household
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Private Chef or within high-end establishments
Formal culinary training or equivalent qualification preferred
Strong knowledge of various cuisines and dietary needs
Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
