Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist – Containers & Intermodal to manage the full contract lifecycle, supplier relationships, and commercial negotiations within a logistics and shipping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, negotiate and manage commercial contracts
Execute sourcing events and support procurement strategies
Manage contract administration, amendments and compliance
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Monitor supplier performance and resolve contractual issues
Analyse contract data and prepare management reports
Support contract implementation across ERP and procurement systems
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive commercial value and mitigate risk
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 3 years' experience in container shipping or general shipping environment (advantageous)
Strong contract management and commercial negotiation experience
Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay processes
Experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Power BI or similar) advantageous
Strong analytical, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
