Compliance Monitoring Officer Sandton
Our financial services client is looking for an experienced Compliance Monitoring Officer with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s / Post Graduate Diploma in Compliance Management, or Internal Auditing, or Risk Management or Legal Qualification.
CPrac (SA) – Compliance Practitioner designation from CISA.
Certificate in Compliance Management.
5+ years’ experience as Compliance Monitoring Officer
2+ years experience in Auditing
Relevant experience and working knowledge of compliance management.
Key Duties:
Maintain and enhance the compliance framework, including policies, manuals, and templates.
Identify, assess, monitor, and report on material compliance risks.
Advise business units on compliance matters and assist in implementing compliant policies and procedures.
Collaborate with service providers and auditors to oversee compliance controls and processes.
Develop and update Compliance Risk Management Plans (CRMPs) in line with annual plans.
Execute compliance reviews and monitoring activities according to the annual Risk and Compliance Coverage Plan.
Report on non-compliance issues and compliance risk management.
Assess and recommend corrective actions for compliance issues.
