Our client is one of South Africa’s premie - r luxury safari destinations, offering world-class big five game viewing across an expansive private concession in the Greater Kruger. With a portfolio of distinct camps catering to the upper end of the market, they are well-established within the global luxury travel trade and consistently positioned among the region’s top safari properties. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team and take direct ownership of one of the most valuable source markets in the business – North America. Based at the Head Office in Pretoria, the successful candidate will carry direct revenue accountability for the North American market – identifying and converting high-producing luxury and boutique agencies, deepening relationships with key DMC partners, and executing structured annual sales strategies to drive measurable year-on-year growth. The role demands extensive travel into the market, including roadshows, trade show participation, FAM trip hosting, and regular in-market sales calls across the United States and Canada. ???????????? A minimum of 5–7 years’ senior sales experience within the luxury safari, lodge, or high-end inbound tourism sector. A proven and measurable track record of driving revenue growth specifically within North American source markets. Established relationships within the North American luxury travel trade – agency owners, senior travel designers, and DMC partners – will be a significant advantage. A solid understanding of the Greater Kruger competitive luxury safari landscape and how to position a premium product within the North American market. Demonstrated ability to win and grow high-value accounts across both agency and DMC channels. A high degree of commercial independence and personal accountability for revenue targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to undertake extensive international travel, including roadshows, trade shows, FAM trips, and in-market sales calls across the United States and Canada. Confident representing a premium luxury brand to a discerning international audience.
