We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-availability Linux-based systems supporting critical production environments. The role focuses on delivering secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions across on-premise and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers (SUSE, RHEL, Ubuntu)
  
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
  
• Apply system updates, patches, and security fixes
  
• Manage and support high availability environments (e.g. Veritas Infoscale)
  
• Deploy and operate workloads on AWS and Azure
  
• Maintain system and operational documentation
  
• Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies
  
• Manage Incident, Problem, and Change processes (ITSM)
  
• Track and update tasks and user stories (e.g. Jira)
  
• Support system stability and operational standards
  
• Participate in operational meetings and team coordination
  
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  
• Participate in standby and weekend support when required
  

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Strong experience with Unix/Linux (especially SUSE)
  
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, Perl)
  
• Experience with High Availability systems (e.g. Veritas Infoscale)
  
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Grafana)
  
• Understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSH)
  
• Basic knowledge of Oracle and SAP environments
