ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager: Corporate Affairs will lead the PSSPF’s stakeholder engagement, communications, marketing and ESG reporting functions. This is a visible, senior role requiring a confident communications professional who is comfortable operating in a regulated, public-sector environment with active media exposure. The role requires someone who can build and protect the PSSPF’s reputational profile while communicating complex financial and regulatory matters clearly to a broad stakeholder base.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Relevant degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate communications, stakeholder management or public affairs
Demonstrated experience in media relations and managing reputational matters in a public-sector or regulated environment
Experience in the retirement funds, financial services or public sector industry preferred
Proven ability to communicate complex regulatory or financial matters clearly to diverse audiences
Working knowledge of ESG reporting and responsible investment communication advantageous
Strong written communication skills with experience drafting public statements, member communications and Board reports
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement the PSSPF’s stakeholder engagement and communications strategy
Manage media relations, public statements and the PSSPF’s reputational profile
Implement and communicate the PSSPF’s ESG and responsible investment commitments
Oversee member communications, fund marketing materials and digital channels
Manage the PSSPF’s website and social media presence
Ensure member complaints response processes are adhered to in collaboration with the Legal function
Produce and manage content for Board and sub-committee reporting
