HR PRACTITIONER (GENERALIST) – 6 MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT
Pretoria
Our client, a well-established organisation based in Pretoria, is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Practitioner on a 6-month fixed-term contract to provide comprehensive HR generalist support across the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Payroll administration (fully in-sourced environment)
- Recruitment and selection
- Employment Equity administration and submissions
- WSP & ATR submissions
- HR compliance and audit submissions
- HR policy and SOP development and implementation
- Labour relations, grievances, disputes and disciplinary matters
- Performance management
- Training and skills development
- HR administration and reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Proven experience with:
- HR compliance and audits
- EE submissions
- WSP & ATR submissions
- Policy and SOP development
- Payroll administration in a fully in-sourced payroll environment
- Experience working on systems such as VIP Premier, Sage 300 People and/or CRS
- Strong labour relations and disciplinary experience
- Sound knowledge of job evaluation methodologies
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
Advantageous:
- Postgraduate HR qualification
- SDF Certification
The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, analytical, ethical, and capable of functioning effectively under pressure within a professional team environment.
