WatersEdge Solutions is hiring a strategic and hands-on Head of Operations and Delivery to lead cross-functional operations and drive excellence in project execution. About the Role
As Head of Operations and Delivery, you’ll report directly to executive leadership and be responsible for day-to-day operations, service delivery optimisation, and people leadership. You’ll shape operational frameworks, streamline delivery methodologies, and ensure both internal teams and client engagements run efficiently. This role is ideal for a proven operational leader with deep project management expertise and the ability to drive transformation across an organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with company objectives
Develop and implement scalable operational strategies and frameworks
Monitor key metrics and report on performance KPIs
Delivery Management
Lead the delivery of projects and services, ensuring timelines, quality, and budgets are met
Work with project managers to resolve bottlenecks and enhance delivery methodologies
Champion continuous improvement across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models
People Management
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performance operations and delivery team
Manage performance reviews, workforce planning, and professional development
Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as liaison between internal teams, clients, and executive stakeholders
Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
Support the COO in executing company-wide strategic initiatives
What You’ll Bring
10+ years’ experience in operations, delivery, or project management
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments
Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and delivery governance frameworks
Effective stakeholder and client engagement capabilities
Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Business, Operations, or similar; MBA a plus)
Change management and transformation experience
Organised, strategic, and results-focused
Nice to Have
Experience in SaaS or professional services environments
Familiarity with enterprise tools and digital delivery systems
Exposure to global client environments or scaling high-growth organisations
