VACANCY: FUND PRINCIPAL – PROPERTY DEALS & TRANSACTIONS / PROPERTY INVESTMENT EXECUTIVE

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly experienced Fund Principal: Property Deals & Transactions to join a leading organisation within the investment and asset management sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a strong pipeline of property investment transactions, including property developments, acquisitions, disposals, debt, equity and indirect investments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Originate and oversee new property investment opportunities.

• Evaluate opportunities to unlock value within an existing property portfolio, including potential acquisitions and disposals.

• Oversee the structuring of property transactions incorporating both equity and debt.

• Lead the preparation of investment committee reports and deal motivations.

• Manage the sale and acquisition of assets in line with portfolio and investment objectives.

• Identify, structure and close value-accretive property transactions.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, service providers and internal stakeholders.

• Identify and close profitable business opportunities with new and existing partners.

• Manage the property deal pipeline, including board motivations, reporting and transaction status.

• Monitor property and investment market developments to identify new opportunities and competitive advantages.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Honours Degree or equivalent in Finance, Property or Real Estate.

• Certification/Diploma in Property Law and Sales.

• FAIS RE05 Certificate, or willingness to obtain it within 6 months of employment.

• 10–12 years’ investment and deal experience within the property industry.

• At least 5 years’ Senior Management experience with direct reports.

• Strong track record in property investment transactions and deal origination.
