Medical Resources Group is a specialist healthcare recruitment and staffing company. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our team and are looking for a dedicated Recruitment Consultant who wants to grow with us and be part of our long-term journey.
Purpose of the Role
The Recruitment Consultant will manage the full recruitment lifecycle within the healthcare sector, combining 360° recruitment delivery with business development to grow client relationships and deliver high-quality placements.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Placement
- Manage the full recruitment process from job briefing to placement
- Source, screen, interview, and shortlist candidates
- Coordinate interviews, offers, and placement confirmations
- Conduct reference checks and basic compliance verification
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on internal systems and the ATS
Business Development & Client Management
- Proactively develop new business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing client relationships
- Conduct client visits and recruitment needs assessments
- Present recruitment solutions aligned to client requirements
Administration & Compliance
- Ensure recruitment documentation is complete and accurate
- Maintain professional communication with candidates and clients
- Adhere to POPIA and internal data protection standards
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) – essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Recruitment Consultant in an agency environment
- Proven business development and client acquisition experience
- Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Target-driven and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence
Advantageous
- Degree or Diploma in HR, Business, or a related field
- Previous healthcare recruitment experience
- Proven placements of doctors, nurses, or allied healthcare professionals
- Understanding of healthcare compliance and credentialing
