Job Summary
We have a vacancy for an Electric Vehicle Technician with a vehicle dealership based in Pretoria.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for servicing and maintaining electric vehicles, diagnosing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults, carrying out repairs, performing diagnostic testing, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
Requirements:
Qualified Motor Mechanic with a recognised Trade Test Certificate.
Experience or specialised training in electric vehicle technology would be highly beneficial.
Knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including high-voltage batteries, electric motors and electrical systems.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience as a Technician within a vehicle dealership.
Experience working within a corporate vehicle dealership is essential.
Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle technologies.
Valid South African driver’s licence.
Clear criminal record.
Solid employment track record with contactable references.
