We are seeking a seasoned Control-M (MFT) Specialist to join a dynamic team responsible for workload automation and secure file transfers. The role demands strong technical expertise in Control-M scheduling, file transfer protocols, and automation scripting. You will support mission-critical data movement processes, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across teams to meet business needs.
Configure and manage Control-M jobs for file transfer operations across multiple platforms.
Implement secure file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S).
Monitor job performance, troubleshoot failures, and maintain comprehensive logs and reports.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Perl.
Ensure all file transfers meet security compliance standards including encryption and access control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement file transfer solutions.
Apply error handling and troubleshooting methodologies to resolve job and connectivity issues.
Support business process alignment through efficient data transfer solutions.
Proficient in Control-M architecture, components, and functionalities.
Deep understanding of FTP/SFTP/FTPS/HTTP/S protocols and their secure configurations.
Strong scripting capabilities (Shell, Python, Perl).
Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, firewalls).
Effective error handling and troubleshooting skills.
Awareness of file transfer security best practices.
Experience with advanced Control-M features like event-driven scheduling.
Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Exposure to database management and SQL.
Familiarity with ETL/data integration tools.
Understanding of business processes tied to data movement.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Control-M Certification is highly beneficial.
Relevant certifications in networking or security (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CISSP) are advantageous.
