Our client, a renowned luxury safari collection in the Eastern Cape, is seeking an experienced Wellness Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of its wellness and spa division across multiple lodges. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate wellness professional with strong commercial acumen and luxury hospitality experience to create innovative wellness experiences while driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction and financial performance. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Wellness Manager will oversee all aspects of the wellness operation across the lodge portfolio. This includes leading and developing the wellness team, driving exceptional guest experiences, managing financial performance, overseeing budgets, stock control and procurement, and ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently delivered. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative wellness experiences that complement the luxury safari offering while working closely with Sales & Marketing to promote wellness products and identify new commercial opportunities. The role also includes monitoring operational performance, implementing training and development programmes, conducting regular quality inspections, and collaborating with Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and other operational departments to ensure a seamless guest journey. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring an individual who is equally comfortable managing people, analysing financial performance, developing strategy and delivering memorable luxury wellness experiences. Minimum Requirements; Diploma or Degree in Spa Management, Hospitality Management, Wellness Management or a related field. Esthetician qualification advantageous. Minimum of 3 years' management experience within a luxury 4 or 5-star spa or wellness environment. Proven experience managing multi-faceted wellness operations, budgets, inventory and stock control. Strong financial management, sales and commercial awareness. Experience developing wellness programmes and driving guest experience initiatives. Previous experience with wellness or spa management systems. Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities. Passion for luxury hospitality, wellness and continuous improvement. Ability to build strong relationships across multiple operational departments.
