Job Summary
Sales Representative – PPE
Location: Based in Port Elizabeth
Travel Requirement: Travel twice monthly to Johannesburg up to one week at a time.
Job Purpose
To drive sales growth by promoting and selling a one-stop range of single-use PPE and Cleaning supplies to new and existing clients, while building strong customer relationships across key regions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned regions
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular engagement
- Conduct scheduled sales visits to Johannesburg / Durban (minimum twice per month)
- Present and promote the full range of single-use PPE and disposable cleaning products
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Achieve agreed sales targets and revenue objectives
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and delivery
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as required
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within PPE, hygiene, medical, industrial, or FMCG sectors
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management
- Willingness and ability to travel to Johannesburg at least twice per month
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Target-driven with a strong closing ability
