Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Understanding Technical Requirements of Clients in the Automotive Industry Creating of Innovative Engineering Concept
Solutions to Meet Client Needs. - Working with Other Engineers to Perform Feasibility Studies, Develop Models, and Specify Hardware and Equipment.
- Working with Other Engineers to Improve on Existing Processes and Mechanical Designs.
- Determining and Costing of Mechanical Hardware and Labour Required for Potential Projects.
- Becoming Familiar with Client Specific Mechanical Design Standards and Practices.
- Preparation and Formatting of Tender Documentation.
- Obtaining Supplier Quotes.
- Adhoc Tasks.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Related.
- Eagerness to Enhance and Grow Understanding of Engineering Principles and Systems.
- Additional Studies Welcomed in the Direction Suited to This Position.
- Experience with 3D Engineering CAD Software Advantageous.
- Experience in Project Costing Advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Very Good Verbal and Written Communication.
- Pro-Active Work Ethic.
- Excellent Organisational Skills.
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
- Excellent Attention to Detail.
- Experience in the Automotive Automation Advantageous.
