Job Summary
Junior UI Designer (Hybrid | Contract)
We are looking for a Junior UI Designer to support internal and client-facing projects by creating, improving and applying modern UI and design systems. This is a new role, reporting to a Lead Designer, with mentorship and training provided.
Key Responsibilities

Create and apply UI design systems across live applications

Design and improve user interfaces and user journeys

Build prototypes and annotated designs in Figma

Modernise existing applications and design UI from scratch where needed

Support the Lead Designer with UI consistency and design admin tasks
All work is reviewed and approved by a senior designer.
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Strong UI design skills

Advanced Figma proficiency

Experience creating and applying full design systems

Prototyping experience

Ability to explain and justify design decisions

Strong visual attention to detail
Nice to Have

Basic UX knowledge (wireframes, task flows, personas)

Awareness of modern UI trends

WordPress experience
