Our client, a prominent and leading brand, is seeking an experienced HR and Payroll Manager to join their team in North End, Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Payroll Management, or a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of South African labour law and payroll compliance.
Competent in SAGE, MS Office, Paypace, and Time & Attendance software.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
Oversee HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and wellness.
Draft, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with labour legislation.
Provide guidance on remuneration structuring, benefits, and incentive frameworks.
Ensure audit-proof documentation and reporting across HR and payroll functions.
Conduct compliance inspections with PSIRA, Bargaining Council, and Department of Labour.
Develop and manage HR/payroll staff, fostering accountability, collaboration, and growth.
Assist with the annual financial audit, preparing accurate HR and payroll evidence.
Manage skills development and employment equity initiatives, ensuring compliant reporting and workforce diversity.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
Champion employee wellbeing and foster a positive workplace culture.
