About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Project Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administration, project coordination, and working in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule while maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily administrative and project coordination tasks.
- Create, update, and manage project tickets, task lists, and project schedules.
- Follow up with clients regarding content, feedback, approvals, and project requirements.
- Schedule meetings and maintain project calendars.
- Organize and maintain project documentation and records.
- Monitor project deadlines and assist in ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Liaise with developers, designers, and clients to keep projects progressing smoothly.
- Prepare project reports and status updates for management.
- Assist with website content uploads and perform basic quality checks when required.
- Manage emails, filing systems, and general administrative duties.
- Assist with quotations and other office administration functions as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in an administrative, project coordination, or office support role.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, positive, and proactive attitude.
- Reliable transport to and from the office in Gqeberha.
Advantageous
- Experience working in a digital, marketing, IT, or project-based environment.
- Experience using project management software such as Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
