Job Requirements Lead walking safaris, bush walks, and trails in an unfenced Big 5 environment Maintain constant guest safety awareness and manage environmental risks Provide engaging, educational interpretation on ecology, behaviour, tracking, and conservation Adapt trail difficulty, pace, and content according to guest needs and fitness levels Uphold strict conservation ethics and responsible tourism principles Adhere to reserve rules, lodge SOPs, and wildlife protocols Support conservation programmes and assist with data collection Conduct pre‑walk risk assessments and equipment checks Maintain radios, first‑aid kits, emergency tools, and bushcraft gear Respond professionally and calmly to wildlife encounters or emergency situations Deliver memorable guest service, storytelling, and interpretation Report operational or wildlife concerns to the Safari Manager Assist in mentoring junior and trainee guides Support the guiding team with operations, briefings, and planning Package Competitive salary (Insert details) Accommodation Meals while on duty Uniform provided Ongoing training and development Additional lodge benefits (Insert details) Start Date: 1 April 2026
