Job Summary
Well-established manufacturing company is looking to employ a Site Admin Manager at their plant near Piet Retief in Mpumalanga. You will assume accountability for the factory fixed costs, stores, warehouse, services department, welfare department and the internal factory administration services.
For the position you would be required to have:
- Grade 12 with Core Mathematics (not Maths Lit)
- Completed Commerce related Degree (BCom, BCompt)
- At least 5 years administration/office experience including a knowledge of accounting and financial/management systems.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing and creating budgets.
- Experience in Quality Management Systems
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing a team.
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing customer/supplier relations.
- 3 years’ experience working on an Enterprise Resource Planning system (Syspro preferred).
- Ability to communicate in English.
Responsibilities would include you to:
- Assume accountability for the warehouse including receiving, storage and dispatch of finished product.
- Assume accountability for the consumable stores including ordering, receiving, storing and dispatch of all stock and non-stock items.
- Assume accountability for factory administration and site IT.
- Assume accountability and responsibility for factory financial accounting, cost accounting, asset management and reporting, including budgets and audits.
- Assume accountability and responsibility for welfare department including guest house/s, garden services and cleaning services.
- Assume responsibility for security on all associated sites (factory, village, hostel, dam sites, effluent sites).
- Ensure effective performance of subordinates and teams.
- Comply with production and safety procedures.
- Comply with the requirements of ISO and Quality Management Systems.
