JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Spa Therapist / Lead Therapist (International) Role Purpose The Senior Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional spa and aesthetic treatments while actively contributing to the establishment and maintenance of high service standards, training, and guest experience excellence. This role combines hands-on treatment delivery with leadership, mentoring, and quality control, supporting the long-term success of the spa. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Treatment Delivery & Guest Experience • Deliver a consistently high standard of spa and aesthetic treatments • Conduct thorough consultations and tailor treatments to client needs • Ensure calm, professional, and attentive guest journeys from arrival to departure • Maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and treatment protocols at all times ⸻ 2. Service Standards & Quality Control • Uphold and refine spa SOPs and treatment protocols • Ensure treatment rooms, tools, and products are always presentation-ready • Act as a role model for professionalism, presence, and service etiquette • Identify service gaps and actively propose improvements ⸻ 3. Training & Team Development • Support onboarding and training of local therapists • Coach team members on technique, client interaction, and professionalism • Assist in building a culture of pride, accountability, and continuous improvement • Contribute to internal training manuals and treatment standards ⸻ 4. Retail & Commercial Awareness • Confidently recommend appropriate retail products • Support retail sales targets through authentic client education • Contribute to treatment menu development and pricing logic • Understand revenue impact without compromising service quality ⸻ 5. Operational Support • Assist Spa Manager with daily operations when required • Support scheduling efficiency and treatment flow • Handle guest feedback professionally and constructively • Act as escalation point for service-related issues when needed ⸻ Required Qualifications & Experience • Formal qualification in Somatology / Beauty Therapy (CIDESCO, ITEC, or equivalent) • Minimum 4–6 years experience in a high-quality spa or medical aesthetics environment • Strong treatment portfolio (massage, facials, body treatments; aesthetics an advantage) • Experience working in luxury, hotel, or medical spa environments • Comfortable training and mentoring junior therapists • Fluent English (additional languages an advantage) ⸻ Personal Attributes • Calm, grounded, and detail-oriented • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity • Strong sense of ownership and pride in work • Reliable, structured, and professional • Able to adapt to a developing environment without frustration ⸻ Growth & Progression • Opportunity to grow into Lead Therapist / Head Therapist role • Involvement in menu development, training systems, and spa evolution • Long-term role for the right candidate
