Hospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy- Head Chef 5* Exclusive Beach Lodge- Zanzibar Oversee all food standards for guests and staff, manage kitchen operations, lead and develop the chef team, and deliver an exceptional island dining experience. Requirements Culinary Diploma (minimum) + 2 years senior chef (head/Exec) in an ultra-lux 5star environment (lodge/resort) International (African continent) experience would be very beneficial Excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, strong leadership and teamwork. Creative; motivated, guest‑focused, organised, and computer literate. Passionate about food and guest experience. Approachable; energetic, disciplined, and professional in appearance. Key Responsibilities Maintain high food quality, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen standards. Train; mentor, and manage kitchen staff. Handle admin: schedules, staff files, hygiene compliance. Manage budgets, stock control, ordering, and equipment maintenance. Create seasonal, dietary‑appropriate menus. Support sustainability and waste‑reduction goals. Build strong guest relationships; understand dietary needs. Communicate effectively with chefs, management, suppliers, and guests.
