Employer Description Luxury Lodge in Sabi Sands Job Description Our client is seeking a Stores Administrator to join their team at a luxury safari lodge. This permanent live-in role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting procurement and administration functions while ensuring smooth operations across the property. Key Responsibilities: Provide cover for the Purchasing & Procurement Manager during leave periods Place orders for all stores and raise purchase orders Conduct preliminary stock counts and assist with monthly stock takes Perform daily updates of lodge requisitions, housekeeping requisitions and staff food allowances Process sales, post payments, receipt goods, and enter supplier invoices in Sage X3 Reconcile supplier statements and accounts, investigate variances, and report discrepancies Assist with deliveries, verifying quantities, prices, quality, and expiry dates Complete delivery-related health & safety checklists Maintain and reconcile petty cash, ensuring audit-ready documentation Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a purchasing and procurement role (preferred) Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet; Sage X3 and HMS Infor advantageous Excellent command of English, both spoken and written Skills Methodical approach to administration and data capturing Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Hands-on; flexible, and able to cope under pressure Attention to detail and accuracy essential Open to learning new systems and processes Sensitive to cultural issues, patient with colleagues, and realistic about bush life Well-groomed with good personal hygiene Benefits Live-in furnished accommodation (possible sharing) R2614 monthly food allowance in addition to salary Medical Aid – 50% company contribution (after 3-month probation) Pension Fund – 50% company contribution (after 3-month probation) Share of gratuities and 1% company revenue gratuity 20 bed nights annually for family and friends Leave cycle: 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off
