Hybrid Role (On-site lodge visits + remote work flexibility) Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of luxury lodges in a remote safari setting. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage and optimise financial performance across multiple high-end properties while working closely with both lodge operations and central support teams. The successful candidate will ensure strong financial control, accurate reporting, effective budgeting, and strategic insight to support operational excellence and long-term business sustainability. Requirements: ✔ Apply Below Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field ✔ Minimum 5 years’ finance experience with at least 2 years in the hospitality sector ✔ Strong knowledge of hospitality financial operations, budgeting, and reporting ✔ Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel) ✔ Experience with Sage (Intacct preferred) or similar accounting systems ✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities ✔ Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment ✔ Strong communication skills with ability to translate financial data for non-finance teams ✔ High attention to detail with strong organisational skills ✔ Proactive and collaborative working style Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all property finance functions across multiple luxury lodge operations • Manage financial controls including purchase orders, cash flow, petty cash, and reconciliations • Validate daily revenue and ensure accurate and timely reporting • Oversee inventory, fixed asset registers, and operational equipment tracking • Lead and manage annual budgeting processes with department heads • Prepare management accounts, variance analysis, flash reports, and financial insights • Support pricing strategy for lodge extras and ancillary revenue streams • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with group SOPs • Support external audit processes and ensure accurate documentation • Act as key finance liaison between lodges and support office • Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams • Collaborate with HR on payroll-related financial processes Candidate Profile: • Highly analytical and detail-driven finance professional • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex financial data • Confident working across multiple properties and stakeholders • Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented • Comfortable in a remote/hybrid operational environment Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
