Manufacturing Financial Manager (Costing & Production), Piet Retief, Rneg + Ben
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Proficiency in financial reporting systems and relevant financial management tools.
Minimum Experience Required
· 5–10 years' progressive experience in finance and accounting.
· Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a Financial Management position within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong experience in:
· Manufacturing cost accounting
· Budgeting and forecasting
· Financial analysis
· Inventory management
· Management reporting
· Cost and variance analysis
· Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans for the particle board production line.
· Monitor and analyse production costs, including raw materials, utilities, maintenance and manufacturing overheads.
· Identify manufacturing cost variances and provide recommendations for cost reduction, operational efficiencies and improved profitability.
· Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
· Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
· Manage cash flow, working capital and financial risks.
· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
· Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
· Develop financial models and provide financial evaluations for capital expenditure and operational improvement projects.
· Partner with operational management to improve financial performance, cost control and manufacturing efficiencies.
