??? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with an exclusive, intimate safari lodge in Mpumalanga to recruit a charismatic and experienced ????? ??????? This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional with a strong background in five-star lodge or hotel operations, who is passionate about service excellence, team development, and creating highly personalised guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the lodge, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards across guest relations, staff engagement, housekeeping, maintenance, and financial controls. The role requires a visible leader who leads by example, communicates effectively across departments, and consistently delivers an exceptional “at home” experience for guests. This is a live-in role offering the opportunity to be part of a highly professional hospitality environment focused on excellence, collaboration, and long-term sustainability. Requirements · Proven experience managing a luxury lodge with a minimum of six years’ experience including senior management responsibility · Strong guest focus, with the ability to create memorable, personalised guest experiences aligned to world-class service standards · Sound people management skills, including staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing development · Solid understanding of housekeeping, maintenance, and visual standards, with a strong eye for detail and presentation · Financial acumen, including ordering, stock control, cost awareness, and basic financial administration · Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across all operational departments · Strong food and beverage knowledge, including dietary requirements, allergies, and service terminology · Confident administration and reporting skills, with good computer literacy · Working knowledge of labour legislation and disciplinary procedures · Organised, assertive, patient, and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment · Commitment to sustainability practices and environmentally responsible lodge operations · Valid driver’s licence and fluency in English, with an additional language advantageous Salary – On application (DOE) with live-in benefits Please Note: Although we appreciate all applications, only those candidates who meet the required experience and background will be contacted.
