? **LODGE MANAGER** | **LUXURY SAFARI LODGE** ? **MPUMALANGA** An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Lodge Manager to join a world-class luxury safari lodge in Sabi Sand Reserve. ? **Location:** Sabi Sand, South Africa ? **Salary:** Competitive, depending on experience ? **Employment:** Full-time ? **Working hours:** Lodge operational hours **THE ROLE** This is a high-level hospitality leadership position focused on managing the lodge operations, leading the team, and delivering an exceptional, personalized guest experience. *You will be responsible for:* • Managing daily lodge operations and reporting directly to the General Manager • Maintaining high-touch, personalized guest relations and handling concierge/reception duties • Leading, onboarding, and mentoring lodge staff to boost morale and ongoing skills development • Driving HR processes, including recruitment, inductions, and performance management • Upholding the highest standards of housekeeping, gardening, and overall lodge maintenance • Overseeing financial management through accurate order administration and stock control • Communicating with departmental teams to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly • Planning and executing strategic management plans to drive company goals • Supporting sustainable lodge operations and eco-friendly practices • Championing the property's conservation purpose and environmental values **IDEAL CANDIDATE** ✔ Minimum 6 years' management experience in a 5-star hotel or world-class luxury lodge ✔ Exceptional Food & Beverage knowledge, including preparation, terminology, and dietary awareness ✔ Strong financial acumen, budget management, and reporting skills ✔ Deep understanding of housekeeping and maintenance procedures ✔ Excellent leadership skills with a developmental, supportive approach to staff ✔ Solid knowledge of basic labor law and disciplinary procedures ✔ Computer literate with exceptional English skills (a second language is advantageous) ✔ Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, patience, and assertiveness ✔ Valid Driver's License ? **REQUIREMENTS:** Candidates must have a passion for hospitality, a cooperative work ethic, and a willingness to multi-skill.
