The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all safari-related activities, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, managing guiding teams, and maintaining the highest operational standards. This role is ideal for a seasoned Head Guide or Safari Manager looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established tourism operation. If you have a strong background in safari management, a passion for wildlife conservation, and the ability to lead high-performing teams, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Job Requirements Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Head Guide or Safari Manager within a Big 5 environment. Proven management experience within the safari, tourism, or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of safari and lodge operations. Excellent guest relations and customer service skills. Experience managing, mentoring, and developing guiding and operational teams. Strong leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with budgeting, stock control, rostering, and operational planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain exceptional hospitality and service standards. Valid driver's licence is non-negotiable. Valid PDP is essential. Own reliable vehicle is required. Passion for conservation, wildlife, and guest satisfaction. Flexible and adaptable to the demands of a dynamic safari environment.
