Job Summary

Embark on a rewarding journey with a distinguished private game reserve in the Western Cape, renowned for its dedication to conservation and authentic wilderness experiences. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Trails Guide to join our team, helping us deliver unforgettable safari adventures while supporting the reserve's mission to protect South Africa's rich ecosystems.

What You'll Do:

Lead guided trails and safaris, ensuring guests experience the reserve's wildlife and landscapes with safety and enthusiasm
Maintain the highest standards of guest service, creating memorable and educational experiences
Uphold ethical standards and show sensitivity when sharing knowledge in the bush environment
Share specialist ecological and wildlife insights with visitors and colleagues to enhance the overall experience

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in guiding or related roles within hospitality or environmental sectors
Strong understanding of local wildlife, flora, and ecosystems
Excellent communication skills and a passion for storytelling in natural settings
Ability to work on-site and adapt to the dynamic environment of a nature reserve

Nice to Have:

Certification in guiding or outdoor leadership
Knowledge of conservation practices and eco-tourism principles
