Job Summary

Are you passionate about sharing South Africa’s rich natural heritage and ensuring guests experience the wilderness at its most authentic? Our client, a leading conservation-focused organization within one of the country's largest privately-owned nature reserves, is looking for a dedicated Trails Guide to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of the Western Cape, guiding visitors through a diverse ecosystem while fostering a deep appreciation for conservation.

What You'll Do:

Lead guests on professional guided safaris, sharing your specialist knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecosystems
Maintain the highest standards of guest service, ensuring memorable and authentic experiences
Uphold ethical standards and show sensitivity in all interactions within the bush environment
Collaborate with colleagues to promote conservation awareness and responsible tourism

Requirements:

Field Guide (Level 2) certification and a Full Trails Guide qualification
Firearm competency and a valid driver's license
Valid First Aid Certificate
Between 4 and 10 years of relevant guiding experience

Familiarity with the following:

Endangered wildlife and ecosystem conservation
Bush safety procedures and protocols
