Job Summary
A Beautiful private Game Reserve in the Waterberg region, is looking for a Field Guide to deliver exceptional guest experiences through guided activities, nature interpretation and warm hospitality. The guide will represent the lodge on game drives,vwalks and guest interactions, ensuring safety, education and memorable nature experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct game drives and guided bush horse safaris
Assist senior guides in delivering high-quality, informative, and safe guest experiences
Participate in wildlife sightings reporting and lodge conservation activities
Ensure vehicles and guiding equipment are maintained and cleaned regularly
Welcome and engage guests with warmth and professionalism
Learn and share knowledge about local flora, fauna, and reserve ecology
Support lodge operations as needed, contributing to an all-hands-on-deck team environment
Adhere to all health, safety, and reserve protocols

Requirements
6 - 12 months previous experience as a Field Guide in a lodge or game-reserve environment.
Horse Riding Experience/ Qualification- Must be able to ride well and know your way around horses
All Relevant Guiding qualifications
DEAT Registered
Valid driver’s license; PDP preferred.
Valid First Aid certificate.
Strong knowledge of wildlife, birdlife and environmental interpretation.
Excellent communication skills, guest-service orientation and a warm personality.
