Position: Live-in Caregiver
Location: Meyerton, Gauteng
Salary: R6 500 per month
Start Date: As soon as possible
A caring and reliable live-in caregiver is required to assist an elderly gentleman in Meyerton.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide companionship and engage with him during the day.
Assist with bathing, brushing teeth, shaving and general personal hygiene.
Assist him when using the bathroom.
Ensure he has regular meals and eats throughout the day.
Administer his prescribed medication in the morning and evening.
Keep his living area clean, tidy and comfortable.
Provide general day-to-day assistance and ensure his wellbeing.
Be patient, caring, respectful and attentive.
Requirements
Previous experience caring for an elderly person is preferred.
Must be patient, compassionate and trustworthy.
Must be comfortable with personal care duties.
Must be willing to live in.
The caregiver may go home every second weekend.
A caring attitude and genuine interest in the wellbeing of an elderly person are essential.
Package
Salary: R6 500 per month
Live-in accommodation provided.
Start: Ideally immediately / as soon as possible.
