Lodge Manager – Luxury Lodge | Marloth Park
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a proactive, multiskilled, and guest-focused Lodge Manager to take full ownership of a boutique luxury lodge in Marloth Park. This is a live-out role, ideal for a local resident or someone willing to commute, who can manage the property with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the full guest journey from inquiry and booking through to check-out
• Deliver a personalised, high-standard bushveld hospitality experience
• Oversee housekeeping and garden staff, ensuring meticulous property standards and room readiness
• Conduct daily property inspections and manage maintenance requirements
• Handle minor repairs and coordinate with local contractors for larger technical issues
• Manage monthly operational budgets and petty cash
• Conduct weekly stock-takes of beverages, linen, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure adherence to Marloth Park regulations regarding noise, speed limits, and wildlife safety for guests and staff
• 3–5 years’ experience in lodge or hospitality management
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
• Strong administrative skills and proficiency in booking software (e.g., NightsBridge)
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills
• Exceptional communication skills and emotional maturity
• Valid South African Driver’s Licence and reliable personal transport
• First Aid Level 1 and FGASA/DEAT registration advantageous
