Job Summary
Our Adventure Activities and Events Venue has a vacancy for a Bookings, Events and Operations Coordinator to manage activity bookings for individuals and coordinate group experiences, including corporate team building and year-end functions, at a busy outdoor adventure venue. This is a full-time, live-in position based on-site. This role combines strong customer communication, administrative accuracy, and operational involvement. The successful candidate will handle enquiries, consult with clients to understand their needs and budget, ask the right questions, and recommend suitable activity options and packages, manage bookings from initial enquiry through to final execution, generate and customise quotes and invoices using Excel, and support the smooth running of daily operations, including weekends and peak periods. The role requires coordinating all aspects of each booking, liaising with clients, suppliers and on-site teams, and adapting to changing requirements to ensure each booking runs smoothly on the day. The position also includes hosting responsibilities, coordinating activities, overseeing stock control and catering, and supporting the overall guest experience. This is not a traditional Front Office or desk-based reception role, but an operational and bookings-focused position requiring coordination, problem-solving, and involvement in daily venue activities. It is well suited to someone who enjoys the outdoors and a more active working environment. Candidates with tour operator, travel coordination, or event coordination experience will be well suited to this role.
