As Lodge Manager ; you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the lodge while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction. You will lead and support multiple departments, ensuring that guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay from arrival through to departure. Working within a premier Big 5 destination, the successful candidate will oversee Front Office operations, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Guest Relations, and staff management. This position requires a hands-on leader who enjoys being actively involved in operations while motivating and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be well organised, solutions-driven, and passionate about both Hospitality and the safari industry. You should be comfortable managing lodge operations, maintaining service standards, handling guest expectations, and supporting team members to achieve excellence in their respective departments. Job Requirements Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Lodge Manager or similar Management role Previous experience within a luxury Safari lodge environment Strong Hospitality and guest relations background Experience overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance departments Proven staff leadership and team development skills Financial administration, stock control, budgeting, and reporting experience Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities Computer literate with experience on lodge management systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for wildlife, conservation, and guest satisfaction Ability to work independently and maintain high operational standards Package Competitive salary package Live-in accommodation Meals provided Uniform supplied Career growth opportunities within a professional safari operation Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity to work within a world-class Big 5 destination Start Date: ASAP
